The Therapeutic Riding Hippo-Helper is an adaptable positioning device which stablilizes a rider, allowing the therapist and side walkers to focus more effectively on the rider. It provides a surface for upper extremity weight bearing to facilitate trunk/head control and upper extremity use. The Hippo-Helper has been successfully utilized in PATH International (NARHA) approved riding centers. It is adjustable, allowing for different configurations for the needs of different riders. The Hippo-Helper has a bean bag attachment to accommodate the horse's withers. The Hippo-Helper is not intended to be used as a gait belt or walker belt by side-walkers, nor does it attach to the horse or the saddle.

The Therapeutic Riding Bolster allows the therapist and side walkers to focus only on the rider. This bolster has been successfully utilized in PATH International (NARHA) approved riding center. The bolster has adjustable straps that can be attached to each side of a saddle, surcingle or bareback pad. Made of easy-to-care-for heavy-duty Waxwear and heavy-duty hardware, with a pillow insert. 14" x 7".
